The Sydney Cricket Club has won the Club Championship title for the third year in a row by finishing in the top position in the 1st, 2nd, and Brewer Shield ladders of the 2022/23
Women's NSW Premier Cricket competition.
The Tigers showed great determination in their quest for the Club Championship hat-trick. They won minor premierships in all but one grade and added three grand final trophies to their collection.
Kira Churchland led the first-grade team to win the T20 title, while Darien Dubb-Lynch captained the second-grade team to win the premiership.
Leilani Veitch led the U18 Brewer Shield team of Sydney Cricket Club to win the championship, completing another impressive season for the team from Drummoyne.
The fantastic season of the Tigers can be illustrated by looking at the final Club Championship ladder, which shows them 200.2 points ahead of Parramatta, who finished second. To put this in perspective, the gap between second and fifth place is also 200.2 points.

Alan Campbell, the General Manager of Sydney Cricket Club, and Gavin Zauch, a key representative of the club's women's cricket team, explained what the club's continued success means to the players, coaches, and the wider supporting community.
The achievement of winning the Women's Club Championship for the third consecutive time is a fantastic recognition and acknowledgment of everyone who is involved with the Sydney Cricket Club," the pair stated
This success is the result of years of hard work, especially in our efforts to include female cricketers from the district. We are proud to say that we often have close to 100 female cricketers attending training on Wednesday nights," they added
Campbell and Zauch took care to acknowledge the key contributors to the Tiger's era of dominance.
We have a highly committed and fantastic group of volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to set up the club week in and week out. We would like to give a special shout out to Jen and Deb," they said.
Our head coach Russel Grimson has built a very strong coaching panel. He has a broad focus and an empowering coaching style. He is dedicated to helping his players achieve their best and is committed to ensuring their success," they added.
We must also mention our incredible club captain, Gizelle Plummer, who is an inspiration to our playing group. Gizelle leads our first-grade team, serves as a player representative on our Women's committee, and is a board member of the Sydney Cricket Club," they said.
When asked about how the club fosters a positive and successful culture that extends across every grade, Campbell and Zauch replied:
"Our playing group is highly committed and they enjoy the work and challenges that Premier Cricket brings. They have also been playing together for many years, which has made their social connections incredibly strong," they explained.
Our culture starts with the young cricketers, and as they grow and develop their game, the more they are around senior players, the more they enjoy the culture. We have a very strong club-first ethos," they added.
"I would like to extend my thanks to everyone at the club for a tremendous season. Our coaches, supporters, and sponsors - I know they have really enjoyed this year, and it's wonderful for our players to show their appreciation through success on the field," they concluded.
Cricket NSW would like to applaud Sydney Cricket Club on another dominant women's premier cricket season and commend the club for achieving back-to-back-to-back Club Championship titles.
